Originality has always been an important section for the Concours conscious.
With this in mind I have displayed some of the items a Concours Judge could easily identify.
Displayed are items common to all countries while others are only applicable to the country of registration. i.e. decals on Japanese specification vehicles.

ROVER BADGE ON RV8 FRONT WINGS. It is often wondered why Japanese Specification MG RV8’s have the “ROVER” Badge on the front wings. This was simply a PR exercise. At the time in Japan there was ‘Rover Mini’ ‘Rover MG’ ‘Land Rover’ and ‘Rover Cars’ – so why be shy and not promote the ROVER Brand in every way possible. *( Disclaimer: Information gained from David Knowles brilliant book MG V8 ) |
